Position to be filled: Head Teachers/Assistant Teachers
The Kids Connection after school program has positions open for part-time Head Teachers and Assistant Teachers. Responsibilities include providing homework assistance as well as monitoring children in enrichment activities such as swimming and soccer. Head Teachers are responsible for weekly lesson plans. The ideal candidate must be patient and have experience working in a childcare or school setting.  Schedule: Monday through Friday from 3:00pm – 6:00pm.   Must be able to work on school vacations/holidays, and be available from 8:00am – 4:00pm or 10:00am – 6:00pm.
Salary based on experience.

Position to be filled: Volunteer Coordinator
We are currently seeking a Volunteer Coordinator who will manage, schedule assignments and address inquiries for a ‘caseload’ of approximately 40 volunteers who will serve at the White Plains Court House Children’s Center and The YWCA at 515 North Street.
The responsibilities for this position include, assisting with the interviewing, training, assigning and coordinating of volunteer assignments. Assisting with the development and execution of a volunteer orientation/information session.  Liaison with the Westchester Volunteer Center and provide programmatic support to corporate and other adult volunteer events.  Provide other administrative and program support as needed.
Qualifications for the position are, love for children, and strong communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking with prioritization skills are essential. Must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook and Suite Programs.

Position to be filled: Assistant Aquatics Director
The Aquatics Program is seeking an Assistant Aquatics Director who will handle the day-to-day supervision and management of the pool. This position supports The Director of Aquatics Programs with routine clerical work, customer inquiries/concerns, and assigned tasks. Must be available to work weekday and weekend hours. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
   -Strong written and verbal communication
   -Customer service
   -Staff supervision and training
   -Program scheduling and development
   -Planning community outreach programs
Candidates must have a background in swim instruction, lifeguard training, in-service training and a willingness to adapt to a specific style of teaching. Some experience within a learn-to-swim environment strongly preferred.  Current CPO, LGT, CPR and AED are required. Instructor level certifications include LGI and WSI.
