Program Highlights Our facilities include a newly renovated 8,000-square-foot, air-conditioned gymnasium with spring floor, trampoline, BAB system and 40-foot Tumbletrack. The program stresses safety and fun with opportunities for all ages to participate in YWCA League and USA Gymnastics Federation sponsored events. Waiver required for all gym programs. No make-ups.
Open registration for new participants begins: June 19, 2006 and will remain open until all spaces are filled. Registration for the Developmental Groups, YW Starz, Talent Group, and Hot Shots will open Monday, August 21. Please call for details and registration forms.
Registration for all Teams will take place after Labor Day. This includes: Pre Team and Levels 4-8
Session: Monday, Sept. 10, 2007 – Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008

>Pre-school Gymnastics Judy Eisele and Irene Pagliari, Pre-School Coordinators Coed, ages 2-4 1/2 Children learn the basics of movement, group dynamics and beginning gymnastics. Parent/Tot ratio: 7:1Pre-school ratio: 5:1
Dress Code and Age Requirements Dress in sweats, shorts, T-shirt or leotard. Bare feet, hair tied up, no jewelry. Birth certificates required for proof of age for all 2- and 3-year old groups.
Children’s Gymnastics For girls and boys 5 years and up. Ratio 7:1.
Girls Gymnastics Guide N* (Novice) 0-6 months experience and new program participants. R1 (Roller 1) Able to perform forward roll, back roll, bridge, cartwheel. R2 (Roller 2) Able to perform handstand forward roll, back hip circle, pullover. A1 (Archer 1) Able to perform back walkover, round off, mill circle. A2 (Archer 2) Able to perform back handspring (with light spot), front walkover.
>Groups for Girls by Invitation Only YW Starz 2-hour intensive class. Hot - Shots Twice weekly advanced group for elementary and middle school students. Talent Group- Advanced group for middle and high school students.
>Girls’ Schedule by Age** Dress Code: Leotard/ bare feet/ hair tied up/ no jewelry.
Gymnastics Teams - Tumblettes Team gymnastics is offered for girls from age 7. Membership is by invitation. Fees are payable in four installments by credit card or in full at time of registration. All Tumblettes are required to participate in the dance program. Time to be announced. No-class dates will be determined by the head coach. (Fees are for one school year: September - June. There is no credit given for missed practices.)
Please be sure to obtain correct gymnastics registration forms from the front desk or the gym office. USAG waiver required for all gym programs. No make-ups for gymnastics classes. Classes cancelled due to inclement weather are not automatically scheduled for make-ups or issued credit to participant.
